Owner: Doug Perry
Proudly featured at the 2019 MCACN, this fully-documented 1967 Yenko Camaro is a true time capsule, clocking only 7,257 original miles. Sold in March of 1968, Yenko fitted this ‘67 with a ’68 hood. It was purchased new for $5,242.08 by John L. Weaver Jr. from Yenko Chevrolet of Cannonsburg, PA, and he owned this car for over 50 years, keeping it in storage since 1973. After Doug Perry purchased the car, he had it restored to the original Nantucket Blue after the original owner painted the car red. Nicknamed Superman, this incredible 427 Super Camaro retains 100% of the original Yenko conversion drivetrain, accessories, body sheet metal, interior, and glass. It even has the original G70-15 Firestone white stripe tires! Adding to its provenance, the car also still retains its original Yenko order form with hand-written specifications with bill of sale. This is the highest-optioned, most expensive Yenko Camaro ever built, and also the last Yenko-built 1967 Camaro! Its number is YS760, where YS stands for Yenko Serial number, 7 for 1967, and 60 for the 60th and last built for the model year.
