RECAP OF RECENT EVENTS ROUND 2 ATTENDED

Round 2 has been busy over the past couple of weeks with a variety of events. Each event we attended was about a different aspect of our product lines. We went to the Motor City NNL 17 model kit show, where we showcased new and upcoming model kits, along with some brand-new model kit announcements. We attended Trainfest where we had our model railroading products on sale and had images of the upcoming products. At Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals (MCACN), we explored the floor for future die-cast projects while also having a booth to sell our products including an exclusive die-cast car.

The Motor City NNL 17 is hosted by the Detroit Area Auto Modelers club and was held at Macomb Community College in Warren Michigan. Here we had a display with samples of upcoming kits, box art, mockups, built test shots, and the official announcement of 4 brand-new kits. These announced kits were the 1965 Chevelle – Time Machine Funny Car, a 1992 Chevy C1500 Short Bed Pickup, a 1965 Pontiac GTO Hardtop, and a 1968 Pontiac GTO.

Trainfest is America’s largest operating model railroad show. We were able to show off the designs for the release of items coming in 2023. There is a new tool coming for our Mini Metals line and while we’re not ready to announce what we’re doing; we’re excited for you all to see it soon.

The MCACN show was another success for Round 2. We spent a long time on the show floor taking pictures and talking with the owners about which cars to replicate on a 1:18 or 1:64 scale. So many great future and past cars that were on the show floor. We were also able to host a model kit make-and-take program and there was a lot of fun for the whole family at the show.

We enjoy being able to attend these shows to interact with everyone. It’s a great opportunity to talk and listen to what the community has to offer. We are looking forward to the many shows we plan to attend in 2023. Check out our Events page to see when and where we will be attending in 2023 and the pictures for each of the shows below.
